Attending Extraordinary meeting of the ICAO Council held today at Chicago, United States to celebrate the 80th ICAO Anniversary since the adoption of the Chicago Convention in 1944,here at Hilton Chicago Hotel, formerly the Stevens Hotel.  Reflecting on the aspirations during the founding year, the ICAO Council adopted a resolution to pay tribute to the 1944 Chicago Convention while highlighting ICAO’s Vision in the next 80years.  

Kenya was honoured to share insights on the role of innovation in unlocking a sustainable future, through show casing Kenya Airways’ new subsidiary FAHARI AVIATION that is leveraging on emerging technologies such Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) to enhance connectivity in Africa  and the FAHARI INNOVATION HUB that is leading the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels(SAF).  Fahari Aviation General Manager-Hawkins Musili participated in the high-level round table discussions on innovation and sustainability highlighting Kenya’s leading role in sustainable aviation
